The line
Why The Line Is
A Skill Position.
The line is not a size contest that starts on Friday. It is a skill position. The skill is making the same first movement, the same hand strike, and the same recovery under a clock and a defender who is trying to wreck it.
What the skill actually is
Stance and start have to repeat. Feet have to get the athlete to a landmark without giving up the chest. Hands have to land on time and stay independent. Leverage is pad level, hips, and balance, not a speech about being “mean.” Recognition is seeing a front, a twist, or a late pressure and still being in the right place.
Those are the six pieces Tyler coaches: stance and start, footwork, hands, leverage, technique that connects them in run and pass, and recognition. Size helps. It does not replace them.
Why that changes how you train
If the line is a skill position, the first hour should be one athlete and one coach, not a camp rotation. Tyler coaches every session. The first purchase is the $175 private session inParker and Castle Rock, Colorado. A group is placed after that hour if the athletes can share a tempo. Film is a later Zoom review of a full game, not a substitute for live corrections.
This is also why the site does not run city doorway pages or youth and high-school URL farms. The work is the same work. The athlete in front of Tyler is the variable.
